How You can Help
We have a wish basket. Sometimes the wishes seem big. But if you
have a skill and some time we'd be very appreciative. Board of Directors
positions include:
1) Treasurer. Not lots of money but the debits and credits need to
be recorded in an organized way. Do you have any bookkeeping skills?
2) Recording Secretary: Meetings need to be recorded and sent out
to participants. Notices of meetings sent. Calls to important people
to correct and maintain our mailing list.
Committees:
1) Graphics: flyers, announcements Invitations to Fundraisers, etc.,
We will be working on the Brochure for the RE-ENCHANTING THE CITY
CONFERENCE.
2) Publicity and Outreach: Setting up a media file. Getting out press
releases. Talking to various well-known people to get their OK on
pictures etc.
3) Fundraising: Need someone with imagination and the ability to talk
people into doing fun things.
4) Migratory Canada Goose Counters at Sepulveda Basin, Pierce College,
Encino Reservoir and some shifts at Chatsworth Nature Preserve. Morning
and afternoon shifts.
